Nautic Nomad Show Notes S1 E1
Thanks to our first guest Captain Daryn Dalton, who is also my husband!
The Crew Agency I talk about in this episode is Elite Crew International. A professional yacht crew placement agency with offices in Fort Lauderdale and Barcelona. They specialize in placing experienced crew on board 50M+ vessels, are MLC certified and their hands-on personalized solution for crew placement has been crafted over the past 20 years.
The Flower Shop in the Turks & Caicos we speak about is Environmental Arts & Café aka Flowers by EA, located inside of a coffee shop called Lemon 2 Go. It’s a great one stop shop for espresso & arrangements. They can also special order in anything you need.
Special shout out to our friends at Blue Haven Marina in the Turks & Caicos. An absolutely stunning spot with clear blue water and lots of marine life. We were very blessed to be based there for a few seasons!
If you need fine wine and unique provisions (or Nesspresso pods) while in TCI, Didier at Turquoise Distribution is the man to talk to. This is the spot for fine import cheeses, wines, cold cuts, smoked salmon and duck confit.
Where’s your favorite place to explore by boat?
My most traumatic sailing story is from cruising the North Sea from Gdansk Poland to the Kiel Canal. Daryn’s favorite cruising spot is the Sea of Cortez and mine is the Galapagos Islands and French Polynesia.
